Coach Anne and I are excited and looking forward to a great fun season. To get us started there a few items I want you all to be aware of.
Important Dates:
Physicals = If not in then you will not be able to practice and counts as misses
Pictures = August 29th at 3:30 p.m. high school (be dressed and ready to go)
Chicken BBQ = September 29th at the high school (cheerleaders in charge of the bake sale)
Booster Club meetings = 2nd Tues of every month at 7:00 at the high school
1) The chicken BBQ is Saturday, September 29th. The girls will be asked to sell 10 tickets each for the event, just as the football players are. Ron Knapp is coordinating the program, and will put together a packet for girls. They are also asking for parent volunteers for the BBQ itself, and for the girls (and football players) to make signs and stand out near the street to draw in customers. There is a bake sale at the same time if you are a baker and cheerleading is responsible for it this year. I will be asking for volunteers to work it. |
OTHER RANDOM ITEMS:
Pom-poms: we need new ones. I asked booster club but for good ones it’s 1000+ so we need to do a quick fundraiser.
Sneakers: Were ordered for those that went in the timeframe (Friday, Aug. 17) I will let girls know when they come in and it will be your responsibility to go pick them up before the first game.
Bows: Volunteers to make bows for the girls??
